Please scroll down and read what has been happening the past few days. We do not have internet access so I type and save offline then update when the internet connection is available.
Yesterday we were awakened in the early hours of the morning with strong winds and rain falling. We did not think that when we came to Arizona we would see more rain than at any other state so far. We have since discovered that there are a few leaks in our trailer. One of them is in Jason’s closet. We didn’t discover it until Jason tried changing his shirt yesterday and found it wet on one side. We had to take all of his clothes out of the closet last night in case it rained. I did rain last night, but without the high winds. There was only a slight amount of moisture in the closet this morning.
Jason realized that he will not be able to procrastinate anymore. He knew that there was an area of caulking that needed to be replaced, but it has been so hot he didn’t want to take care of it right then. We were not expecting to have so much rain while in the desert.
Today Jason gets to go soul winning and I get to watch the kids. I wish I could go out too, but at least I can allow someone else to go. This time I have my three kids and the assistant Pastor’s son. He is 19months and just as cute as can be. He has enjoyed playing with the kids, but when his mom dropped him off at the trailer this morning he was not happy to be left. He is doing fine now. He loves all of the new toys. My kids are a little cranky as they didn’t get to bed until late last night. We went to Blockbuster last night and rented them a kid’s movie. Audrey got Samantha an American Girls Movie and the boys got the Disney American Heroes Cartoon collection. They watched the cartoons last night and ate popcorn. They really enjoyed it, but didn’t get to bed until late last night. It was a nice treat for them.
